The event was held at Municipal Auditorium’s Little Theatre on October 15, 2009. This time, Hemline chose The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, to help raise awareness about abused/abandoned animals, to hopefully find the their forever homes. Guests were asked to bring donation items for the Humane Society to enter the event. Thanks again to everyone who came to this event, and for being so generous!
Upon entering the theatre, guests were greeted by flame throwers and KC Wolf, as they made their way down the red carpet. At the end of the red carpet, guests were able to meet some of the wonderful dogs that volunteers of the Humane Society brought to the event.
The venue was perfect for Eve with its Art Deco decor, the ceiling dawning its gold astrology symbols, were only further accented by the beautiful marble floors and gold chairs.
After the runway show, where some of the models not only wore Hemline fashions but some were lucky enough to carry real snakes upon their shoulders, the belly dancers brought erotic flavor to the night, dressed in the traditional bedleh.
